How often should fire extinguishers be serviced?
Fire extinguishers should be inspected and serviced once every 6 month. Some types also need periodic pressure testing or refilling. Our technicians tag every unit with its service date.
How often should fire alarm and detection systems be tested?
Fire alarm systems should be tested and maintained regularly, typically once every 3 month, with more frequent checks of panels, detectors and call points depending on the building. We provide a written report after every visit.
What happens during a maintenance visit?
Our technicians inspect each unit or system, test it, replace worn or expired parts, update service tags and give you a report of what was checked and anything that needs attention. We arrange visits to minimise disruption to your business.
Can you set up a annual maintenance contract?

What is the difference between fire detection and fire suppression?
Detection finds the fire early through smoke or heat detectors and alerts you with alarms. Suppression puts the fire out or controls it using systems such as sprinklers, gas or foam. Most buildings need both, working together.
What is passive fire protection?
Passive protection is built into the building to slow the spread of fire and smoke, such as fire-rated doors, fire-stopping seals and fire-resistant coatings. It gives people more time to leave safely and limits damage.
Do I need fire protection for my kitchen or restaurant?
Kitchens carry a higher fire risk because of cooking oils and open heat. Kitchen hood suppression systems, extinguishers and fire blankets, plus regular servicing, are strongly recommended. Our team can assess what your kitchen needs.
